Stacey Kontry

Stacey Kontry has worked in the Multifamily Industry for the past 20 years.  She began her career with Village Green Companies in 2005 after graduating from Albion College, where she worked as a Property Manager throughout Metro Detroit. Relocating to Colorado Springs in 2010, she managed a portfolio of A, B, and C class properties along the front range for Griffis Blessing as a Regional Manager.  Stacey joined Friedman Real Estate in 2016 and currently serves as a Director overseeing approximately 4,500 apartments in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. During her time at Friedman, she has overseen properties throughout the Midwest for investment clients as well as a significant amount of receivership work for institutional clients in North Dakota, Tennessee, and Mississippi. She excels in turnaround strategies, value add projects maximizing investor ROI, and cleaning up distressed assets. She has a proven track record of building high performing teams, onboarding and dispositioning properties, and working with clients through the development and lease up of new construction properties.
