Jared Friedman
Co-CEO
Jared Friedman serves as Co-CEO of Friedman Real Estate, a leading full-service commercial real estate organization. As a second-generation leader, Jared has been instrumental in the company's evolution, helping implement the transformation from a single-source brokerage firm into a fully integrated platform encompassing multiple business units.
Since joining the firm in 2017, Jared has overseen various divisions and helping grow the platform which includes brokerage, commercial and multifamily management, construction, receivership, mortgage banking, mechanical services, and advisory services. His leadership ensures clients benefit from a cohesive approach across all service lines, enhancing value and efficiency. Under Jared's guidance, Friedman Real Estate has expanded its clientele to include private owners, REITs, private equity firms, banks, servicers, and Fortune 1000 companies. His commitment to creating value and fostering integrated solutions has solidified the firm's reputation as a trusted partner in the industry
Before assuming his role at Friedman Real Estate, Jared gained substantial experience in the commercial real estate sector. He worked at Origin Investments in Chicago, a middle-market private equity firm, where he managed real estate investments across the Midwest and Southeast regions. Prior to that, he was with Equity Office Properties, overseeing a six-million-square-foot office portfolio owned by Blackstone. Jared also served as an analyst in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at BMO Capital Markets.
Jared holds a degree from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. His return to Michigan in 2017 was driven by a desire to be closer to family and to contribute to the growth of one of the nation's leading commercial real estate service providers.
